How can you enjoy that shite hole of a radio station. Their programming outside of the ESPN stuff absolutely sucks.

103.7 is complete crap. Except for the jim rome show during lunch. The only time they talk about LSU is when they have something negative to say. I just started listening to bizarre news on 96.5 in the pm.

They have Jordy Holtberg in their lineup.

I'm not going to say the station is awesome. I rarely listen. But to say LSU gets only negative radio time on that show is ignorant or way overly sensitive.

The only on air personality who is unfairly negative to LSU is that tool Jonathan Arnold. He is a hack, and someone from LSU must have fricked his girlfriend or something.

Garret is just a board op and chimes in when there are not a lot of callers, so cut him some slack.

Danny Jones and Chris Cox are pretty good, and Jordy is Jordy.

I don't even listen to that 1420 garbage anymore. Kevin Foote is the only full time host worth listening to on that station.

I never hear them talk crap about LSU, maybe some of the callers but not the host.

He was for a week..it was absolutely HORRIBLE. I endured 20 minutes of that garbage. You think Jay Walker has a lot of dead air?

I went to Ohio for a week and got back and Danny Jones is filling in, and it seems like he is now the lead guy. They mentioned how he got a "10 day contract", and that 2 guys are in the running for getting the rights to that time slot.

I say it's time to bring Richard Condon back to Lafayette.

I enjoy listening to Kevin Foote. Stevie P. is OK. The rest do suck, especially Prather.

Prather is getting worse by the day prolly too much time with Jay "i'm mad about life" Walker. I actually hated Foote now somewhat laugh at him more now. I actually prefer Big Dave and the Bandit more than any program, but thank god for Sirius that my drives home after work are somewhat tolerable these days

Back when they were starting up and had barely any callers, Arnold and McGovern would talk mad shite on LSU

I agree that 103.7 sucks. I too noticed that the afternoon guys like to knock on LSU but sometimes it's warranted. It did bother me when the station first started how they would promote being a radio affiliate for LSU and then knock them every chance they got, but I've noticed that they have cut way back on bashing the Tigers and Miles. I don't mind the guys on 1420. I don't listen to them all the time but they're okay for the 15 minute ride to and from work. I stream Hanigriff and Ponamsky's show everyday from 11-1 though. Those are the go to guys during the midday.

As their sideline reporter, I guess I have to agree.

I just do the sideline reports on the field during the Friday night football game of the week with Big Dave and Bandit. It'll be my fourth season doing this in a few weeks.

Yeah during the football season, I'll sometimes join them on-air on Sunday mornings. What's funny is that they act exactly the same way towards each other outside of radio, so it makes it fun to be around them.
