that horrible block in the back call against Rummel was the difference in this game
they are down 9-0 and get their biggest gain of the game into WM territory and get it all called back on a block to the side of the WM guy
Totally deflated their momentum

it was 9-0. It was still pretty much anybody's ball game. They had a huge gain into WM territory called back to make it 3rd and 20+.

listening to the wwl station and they are trying everything in the world to make this sound like a game. anyways im from northeast La not a fan of WM but i give them their just do when needed.

The phantom holding call against WM right before the half could have very well cost us a TD. Don't try to blame a blowout on one play.

Even before that 86-yard touchdown, WM had twice the offensive output (yards gained).

no, it wasn't the difference in the game
but it obviously was a legal block and the situation in the game is totally different when Rummel has the ball 1st and 10 down 9-0 on about WM's 35 late in the 2nd quarter/early 3rd quarter rather than having it 3rd and 20 from about their own 30.
