I actually liked the Yankees going into the season and the Vernon Wells signing. I hit the hammer on the head about them and Boston as well.

However, I look to be dead wrong about the Angels and Jays.

Can't believe how good the team has played with injuries to Jeter, ARod, Tex, Granderson, Youk, Nunez, Cervelli, AP, Pineda.

The lineup could be really goodl if they can get healthy. Props to Cashman.

Gardner
Jeter
Cano
Youk/Arod
Hafner
Tex
Granderson
Wells/Ichiro
Shitty catcher

LOL at you thinking Hafner keeps up this pace, which is quite average, to be honest.

Wells could actually be decent over the course of the year, but he's not gonna hit 40 homers or anything.

Hafner will be hitting 180 on the way to an extended DL stint by the end of July

The frick would a bump do? You said he has been quite average. He has a .931 OPS which would be 14th in the majors if he qualified (and #1 for DHs, 2 if you count Ortiz). Nothing that happens for the rest of the season will change your idiotic statement that he has been "quite average" up to this point.

Actually reverse will happen. Team will suck when Jete and the gang come back.

Current lineup playing with house money

Hafner with the sport porch was expected to bounce back and hit 20-25 home runs if healthy. Wells is a complete surprise and I hated the signing but he is playing like he cares again

Over a full season, Wells will totally outproduce Hafner, even if given the exact same ABs. Hafner is on a hot streak, which isn't even that hot, to be honest.

.913 OPS? meh. James Loney has a 926 OPS. Does anyone think THAT will last?
