Ballin clubhouses make a course seem so much better.

Makes the experience more complete.

Place was hard to find. Would have been SOL without GPS. The night we drove in our exit was shut down for the Alamo Bowl. I had put the wrong address in it for our hotel, and just happened to drive right up to it

Yeah, unless you go looking for food for your sick wife at 12am and the concierge sets you up. fricker told me there was a McDonalds a few blocks down one of the side streets. Ended up walking through the hood of SA. Guy smoking crack pipe tried to stop me, people sleeping on steps, a park with no lights with like 50 people in it, bus stop with 40 Mexicans, etc. I gave that bastard a piece of my mind when he came in the next day

I'm gonna try the daunting task of listing all the golf courses I have played.

Get it written down before it gets too big.

Probably only around 20-25 right now. If that many.

The guy who taught me the game is the D of G at DR....

Annandale is cool, I like hidden tracks like Canton CC, CC of Jackson, Beau Pre, Wolf Creek, etc

I'm gonna try and see if I can play CC of Jackson and Annandale this summer. One of my buddies is about to be working at CC of J and we have some Annandale connections.

You got three pretty damn strong ones in Pebble, St. Andrews, and Carnoustie.

Tidelands isn't noteworthy to you?

FIL played Pebble for free in 83 or so. Said the guys with him had to pay $200 or so back then.

What course is the newer one? Azaelas or Oaks? Im guessing Azaelas since they have bentgrass.

Yeah, I think it was $300 when I played. We stayed at the lodge. Our room was just off the first tee.

My old boss went a couple years ago. Think it was $475

I think he might have said Cypress was more than that?
