Because when it's dialed in, there are few people that can run one by me.

I recommend the Jerry Rice Football Life for you guys to enjoy

That's what I figured. I think if you deloft that driver it opens the face angle +1 or so degrees. Setting the sole plate to closed will balance it out IIRC
There is definitely science involved

most of the newer adapters have made it to where you can now change loft and face angle independently which is a huge step up IMO
i know the nike does, and i think the callaway and cobra too

I'll try that and see what happens. I usually make a conscious effort to close it a bit on my own to get the flight I want.
Hail science.

sole plate really doesnt do anything. It changes the way the club sits on the ground. It doesnt do any real physical changes. If you dont rest the club on the ground the sole plate is useless

Yeah. I do ground the club at address though so it's somewhat beneficial. Won't change the physics though. You're right.

I have no idea what any of my numbers are. I am a grab it and hit it kind of guy. If I like it, I use it. I really want to go somewhere and hit balls with a trackman and see just how far off I am .

Damn, this place exploded after I went to bed last night. I'm not reading the last 13 pages. Probably just deadlifts and cigs and pimp emoticons anyway. If I missed something good somebody give a recap.
Oh and deadlifts, cigs,

if your handicap is less then 15 and you want to bet better i would suggest seeing a fitter

Low single digits. Every club I own is off the shelf. I was fitted for my s55's but just for color.
Can anyone suggest someone to do this for me around Lafayette?
