I'm gonna shackle and quarter some balls at the range. I've got a pot of coffee brewin, 7 Winstons left, and some deadlifts and cardio to knockout.
Then, if everybody isn't off the road for the snow, they better be for me. I'm tearin' arse to the range and back home before the #sneaux gets here.
Then I'm smokin' wings and givin' them a dunk in the oil, TJ Ribs style.

I'll use newspaper and drink the snow from the sky.

I'm not kidding about the smoked/fried wings. These are gonna be better than TJ Ribs.
I gotta get this workout KTFO so I can commence to either beer, whiskey, or both.
Prolly gonna get banned today.

interesting piece i saw on wrx yesterday.
"Every single wood made by every single company has hot melt/rat glue in it. The SLDR being used on tour is nothing like the retail model found in stores. A retail SLDR has an MOI of about 3400 (with a sliding weight of 20 grams) ...that is so insanely low that it makes it so tough to hit it straight. Tour players are using very light weights in the sliding portion (generally 4-10) and filling the head with tons of rat glue low and towards the back to increase MOI. The SLDR is a terrible design for a good overall driver. It kills spin yes but also kills accuracy and TM knows this and would never give a tour player something with that low of an MOI. Once again, TM proves their marketing genius" by veebs007x

That's disappointing. Damn am I really considering trying out a covert 2.0?
Posted on 1/28/14 at 8:34 am to theBeard
"marketing genious" or crappy product creators. I guess they go hand in hand.

Some guy just posted that? Does he have a link? I know you guys who golfwrx read that site like the holy grail, but where does he get that info?
Also, rat glue sounds pretty interesting. Why rats?

the guy at the golf store yesterday told me that he makes everyone looking for a driver try the covert out....and even though most times they may hit it the best, they don't buy it, and buy something else instead because they don't trust/respect the nike brand
fwiw, you can buy a covert 1.0 for pretty cheap if you want to try it out....it's a damn good driver IMO
