The Shield is amazing if you haven't watched it. The West Wing as well, but it's a long one. Very good though.

I started the sheild and liked the first episode but just couldnt get into. West wing is just such a huge investment. I might watch the wire. Watched the first few episode 2 times and stopped.
Theres an Amazon Original Series that just ended called Betas where dudes are developing an app. Wasnt great but I enjoyed it. Had some funny tech jokes/references

Keep meaning to get Amazon Prime for streaming. Just keep finding stuff on Netflix.
HIGHLY recommend The Wire. Too 3 show for me. If you give The Shield some time you'll like it. Set in same universe as Sons of Anarchy. Very similar.

I'll usually watch two series at a time.
A sitcom type comedy and a long drama series. Sometimes I'm just too worn out to invest in an episode of a Dexter or something like that. I'll usually watch some short series in between my long drama shows.
I've found some pretty funny lesser known sitcoms on Netflix.

I have found so many things on Netflix that I really like that I would have never watched without it. Like prison break White collar stuff like that

Less of an investment and a fun watch is Deadwood. It's only 2 seasons I think, maybe 3.

Love White Collar.
There was a series called Friends With Benefits that was funny. Better Off Ted, Undeclared, Video Game High (actually funny), My Boys (TBS show, very funny, I need to rewatch it), and who knows what else.
If it's a 20 minute show, I'll watch it all the way through because it goes so fast.

I hate shows that are only one season because I get so attached then they disappear forever
