Shot two best rounds of the summer last weekend on a 6970 (73/131) yard course. Didn't touch driver all weekend. 3w off every par 4 and 5.

I guess some people just don't have enough Nitro in the 3w to be able to hang.

how do you guys play when it just rained and the bunkers have obviously not been raked?

play it as it lies?

free drop?

i always felt like the fairest thing to do would be to lift, rake, place....but i don't know of anyone who does this

Depends on how bad it is. Our bunkers dont get too bad unless it just pours, in which case we are playing LCP anyways.

Ill tell my buddies to lift and rake it if its bad, or just move it to a better part of the bunker.

Got my clubs yesterday, but it was pouring down so haven't hit them yet. Got the lies adjusted, shafts cut down 1.5", and the grips saved for $70.

If muddy, find a place that isn't muddy, lift, rake, and place. If just wet sand, play it as it lies.

No money, but I checked email and he sent a message. I just replied and told him to send money via Paypal and I'll send them out ASAP.

The LGA is having their member event at The University Club. Aug 11. $75 includes golf/lunch/cart/range. Sounds like a good deal.

Anybody ever wear Allen Edmonds golf shoes. Think I may pick up a pair. I like leather soles and I cant find many other companies out there that still make them
