She's from America?
one article said she lived with an aunt to attend Jim McClain golf academy in south fl. I took that to mean her parents are not from the US?

Good detective work there. I mean really, have you seen this little tramp? No way she is the spawn of Americans.

Didn't feel like starting a new thread so I'll put it in here...
I'm looking to get fitted for some new irons. Where/who in Baton Rouge is the best place to go for that. I've been taking lessons with a pro getting my swing right before I buy some. However, he's not panning out to be an option for the fitting process.
So any help would be appreciated

do you have a brand preference yet?
a basic fitting consisting of flex, lie angle, and length can be done at capitol golf, dicks, or edwin watts, and they'll have the most brands to try
if you want to do a more extensive fitting, you may be able to try CCL or UClub, but they will only have fitting carts for a couple of club makers

I've demo'd a bunch of different brands. I really like titleist and mizuno the most. I was looking at something more extensive than just going to one of the stores. Would that benefit me more?

somewhat depends on your level
having the proper lie angle, length and flex will benefit you way way more than most of the other things they can do
top golfers may want to have clubs swingweighted, spine aligned, loft gaps measured, etc....and its not to say those things hurt you, but those mods cost money, and the difference you'll get from them is minor unless you have an extremely consistent swing
this is just my opinion on the subject, and others may not agree, but some of those finer adjustments just don't seem to worry me

I'm not on the level where I need everything fine tuned, but I'm no beginner either. So I probably only need the basics at this point in my game
I just want to completely get my money's worth especially if I'm going to spend around $1k.

If you're going to spend 1k, spend money on a real club fitting by someone with a trackman

james leitz in slidell and rob noel at money hill in abita springs both teach using trackman
i'm pretty sure they both do fittings as well....you just need to call and find out if they have fitting carts for mizuno, titleist, or any other brand you are interested in
i would not expect those guys to do much more than the basic fitting I mentioned, but you'll have the benefit of hitting the clubs outdoors with a quality launch monitor, so you're left with little doubt which ones you hit the best

Vegas has a version of Audubon park?
Or were they playing around and had those 1' diameter holes on the greens?
I for one would like to try that out for a round.
