Well fricking shite. That guy pretty much nailed exactly what I do. And sounds like he is teaching it to his students.
Should I feel like a swing guru since I did all that on my own? I mean, all of his reasoning is exactly why I first tried it.

I've kinda played with that the past few weeks. I had two free range sessions at Dancing Rabbit and the course in Memphis so I messed around with some grips and trying to square it up. Had some promising results, but I was hitting it so well with it still closed I didn't mess with it.
ETA: I have started squaring my wedges up, even opening them a bit and have had some good success with high spinners when I need them. But I have been killing it with a closed club face and low two hop stop spinner.
