I'm guessing the reason they market it as a "mini-driver" is because drivers are at the forefront of every marketing push while fairway woods aren't. Sounds better than "bigass 3 wood" too I guess

The 12* will be a mini driver to me. When mine comes in, the driver is coming out and I will just crank my 3 wood up to 14* or 15.5*

They just released a "tour minuscule." The upgraded version of the mini.

Tour Minuscule just got replaced by the TM tour micro driver.
Very high tech driver that looks like a hybrid. 5°. They changed their mind about lofting up.
