Yes, but at -6.5 and -13.5

I like Denver in that Atl matchup. Champ Bailey and Tracey Porter are good matches for Jones and White on the outside. Plus, that blowout @ Kansas City is being overblown. The Chiefs were without a few key defensive starters I believe.

Manning in a dome with a good defense against a team whose best defensive back is out for the year, I'll take the Broncos. I have them ML (+150).

I'd like to think the Saints can cover that line, especially considering Newton's performance last week. However, Tampa's defense is much better than ours and Carolina always gives us fits. I may pull the trigger closer to game time, but for now I'm staying away.

I like the New England pick. Only issue is that they may be looking ahead to Baltimore. They will still win, I just would hate to take a (-14) line and have them take it by 13 because they were more focused on the Ravens.

New and improved running game behind Ridley allows the Pats to run clock when up DDs AND actually score points while doing it.

Well here's your magical theory.

If you can get SF @-6.5 they should cover about 70% of the time. Assuming that is an accurate line.

Well if an accurate standard Vegas line is 7 they should still cover 70% at that point.

3 hour time difference always favors the west coast team.

This may sound dumb, but I'm new to betting.

If you are favored (-14), and you win 28-14, you have covered, correct? (unless that's considered a push somehow)

What's the difference if you're favored by (-13.5) and you win 28-14? You've still covered.

Is it just a question of value? (-110) vs. (-120)?

Push. You neither win or lose and you get your bet refunded to your account.

Ok I see. I just figured if you are betting that a team will win by (-14) and they actually win by 14, it would seem logical to assume you've won the bet.

When it comes to $$$ I will ask any questions, irrelevant of how obvious it may be to others, just to be sure.

Lions have listed Megatron as having a foot injury. Just FYI for you 49er/Lions bettors.

Anyone looking at Tenn (+7)? I know Locker got hurt last week, but reports quoted him as saying:

quote:

"I felt like I could go back in, and I let them know that. The medical staff made the decision they did"

San Diego didn't look great on offense. It took a massive implosion by the Raiders on special teams and even then, the chargers didn't dominate the score board. Antonio Gates is still questionable, Ryan Matthews as well.

Thoughts?

Anyone think the GB line will drop to -4?

It's currently at -5.

Thoughts on the total in tomorrow night's game?

I am leaning towards the O49? I think both of these teams will score at least 4 TDs a piece.

I dunno. I def think Chicago can score some points. Cutler has new weapons and the Green Bay's defense isn't very good.

Rodgers seemed to have fits with Frisco's defense and it makes me wonder if the Bears will cause him problems as well.
