I'm still trying to erase what I saw from my memory.

Just when it starts to fade. I'll come back down for a refresher course.

I am rebuilding the r9 with new bionic android technology. After the range session today this think is going to be a hybrid of darth Vader and Frankenstein monster.

i missed all the green/grass talk earlier, but i'll say that greystone has to have some of the best greens in the state at the moment

the speed and roll on them has been flawless for the last month or two

The very same. I had a difficult discussion with myself on the range and we rediscovered the key to nitro town. Today the lot was cleared and permits were pulled. Tomorrow we level and bring in the plumbers....

How has the speed compared to normal? It's been slower than normal most places I've been, just because no one wants to start cutting them too low and deplete the root system during greenup.

they were a little faster in the late winter than they are now, but they are not what i would consider slow at all, i think they are very fair

i played at the bluffs saturday, and it was sooooooo slooooowwwww

i don't think i put a single putt past the hole.....putting and chipping killed my round because i couldnt get the speed down, not to mention the 20mph winds that day made for a grind

i don't know if the bluffs has been that slow, or maybe they couldnt mow the greens saturday morning bc it was still raining

Would kill for grass on greens right now. No such thing as roll at this point

My comment was more about La Tour's eminent decline, and less about that meth head goat ranch you joined.

What I've been doing, and what I did Sunday, was look at the wind as soon as I get out of the car...get a feel for what it's doing at a course's highest point (usually where the clubhouse is). Then I get a cart and load it full of white cans and tell the cart girl to keep an eye on me, as I have a heart condition.

Then I mosey on over to the range. I leave my shoelaces untied, sends a message that says 'hey, I'm extremely comfortable with where I am. In life and in golf.' It's at that point, if the wind is blowing downrange, I do that half ace job walk thing, where you pick your arms up like you're jogging but really just doing a normal walking pace, to the back of the range so I'm facing into the wind.

Then I go through my normal 40 minutes, 40 balls warm up.
