I put that steel shaft in the driver yesterday and I believe I have found some consistency. Whatever distance I lose won't matter to me as much as keeping it in play will to my overall scores.

i really think it has to do with weight of steel. 130 gram steel vs 60 or 70 gram grap

I agree. It feels heavier but that keeps me from my biggest swing flaw which is getting quick with my takeaway. I also like how heavy it is because I feel like the club has serious momentum moving through the ball

maybe i am on my way to this. I have moved to 70 or 80 gram shafts already. A buddy plays 90 grams in driver, 3 & 5.
