I'd have TO and SSmith
I really don't see the dramatic improvement here. Portis>Gore, don't you think? Marshall is pretty good, although I realize he's had a few down weeks. Who's had more down weeks, T.O. or Marshall? I like Smith. Smith>Johnson, for sure.

IMO, this is too much work for little or no gain.

Thanks, Voo Doo. I sometimes think I write too much, but I hate just telling someone to go with X player. So, while I've got your attention, let me ask you this.

I've got Rivers @ PIT. Yikes. At WR, I've got Evans v. CLE, Royal @ ATL, and Colston @ KC. I also have Vincent Jackson @ PIT, who I have been starting, but I benched him this week for Colston. My thought was that I didn't want to put all my eggs in the SD basket given the opponent. What do you think?

BTW, I had Welker warming my bench last night.

Nah man, they like your insight as well as I

Yes, I agree with the "yikes"...I picked up Thigpen for this week as I have Rivers as well. WARNING: Every single time I have sat Rivers, has done well, but at Pit, well....I dunno

I totally agree with that move. I did the same thing with SD this week. I figured that if Rivers was not going to produce much (just my opinion) then there was no sense starting Chambers, who is gimpy anyway. I think Colston is the right guy this week.

I had Cotchery sitting for White, Engram and A Johnson, so I am hoping it will pan out

Wow. That's a bold move. My thought is that Rivers will be throwing when the Steelers stop the run. I also have Orton @ G.B., who is going to start. But I wasn't going to bench my star for a player in his first week back from injury.

I think White is potentially a top performer this week. Johnson is always a must-start. Not sure what Engram will do when he's united with Matt. It can't be worse that it has been for the Hawks. Good luck.

Yeah, Ijust have a bad feeling about Rivers this week. Maybe I have been reading too much ...Good point about Orton-I feel the same way about starting guys in their first week back. You know since this is a business and not so much of a "game" now

Yeah, I hated sitting Cotchery, but he has been killing me lately, hurt one minute, starting the next, etc.

BTW I will be traveling Sunday morning and checking in on here around 10 or so (ET) on my layover in Atlanta...can you try and post any news about Parker if anything earth shattering happens?

If I hear anything tomorrow, I'll post it, but I'm away from computers on Sunday, so don't count on me then. I try to watch every game at once, so I have no time for computers with all that activity going on.

The site I go to is the local sports bar. It's nice to get service while you watch.

I hear ya, it is hard to get some games up here in VA and I watch "a lot" of sports, probably too much...BTW it includes the NFL network

Edit: Like I said, it is "handy"

pick up a free agent or flip a coin...Sorry man, I can't help much on that one, but if you held a gun to my head, I would say McGahee.
