Still likely to have the most prime time and featured games of any division. shite is stupid, this division is bad year after year and they still get every prime time matchup

It’s amazing to see.... from 1970 till the mid 90’s the NFC east was really really good. Plenty of SB wins and appearances.

Yeah but that just proves how tough the division really is!

Add a little FitzMagic to the equation and you’ve got a Super Bowl contender:

Dallas Cowboys 2-4

Philadelphia Eagles 1-4-1

New York Giants 1-5

Washington 1-5

Let's not forget that 3 of these 5 wins are against other NFC East teams:

Washington over Philadelphia
Dallas over NYG
NYG over Washington

It is interesting how that happens. The NFC East was arguably the best division in all of football for a long time.

From 71-96 an NFC East team made the Super Bowl 16 times and won 10 of them...including that 4 game win streak over the poor Bills.

Conversely, it wasn't that long ago when the NFC West was by far the worst division in the league and had the team with the losing record making the playoffs. Now they're arguably the best.

I think has something to do with ownership/money

As it’s much more visible (team values) and the money these teams make is much more lucrative than it was in the early 90s.
These guys consistently have the top 7-8 most valuable teams in the league. Couldn’t care less about winning just making money

But it changes next week.

The Cowboys have to face -- The Football Team! (Or as we call them here at the house, FT District)
