Consider betting the Brewers tomorrow as the Padres are calling up Jeff Suppan from AAA (where he got rocked) for a spot start.
No line yet. Only hesitation is it's a getaway Wednesday for MKE and their heads may not be in the game. However, if they lose tonight that shouldn't be an issue as they'll need to take 2 of 3 from SD.

Jeff Suppan with a spot start today for the Padres against his old mates. Gallardo has been lights out against non-Cardinals opponents but what does that really mean? Scary play with this being a getaway Wednesday for Milwaukee (plus minus Gamel at 1st) and I would have not made this play had the Brewers not been blanked offensively last night. Think they will show up and take care of business. Theoretically Suppan is the worst pitcher to start a game in the Majors this year (over the hill, sucked anyways, +12.00 ERA in AAA his last 2 starts) and you couple that with the Padres being the worst hitting team in baseball - should add up to a win.
Grizzlies are better than Clippers and if they lose tonight series is over.

Your NBA series bets look like locks outside of the Grizzlies. If you hit that, that's a nice bump for the first round.
I'm playing the Brewers today too. I hate giving up -150 on a MLB game but this one looks good. Ton of people playing it though (see Mets last night).
I'm also seeing the under on the Jays/Rangers game and Jays ML on a lot of the guys I follow.

This game scares the shite out of me. I've learned not to bet on a road team on getaway days, but the fact that the Brewers got blanked last night leads me to believe they will be focused. Also the game is at 5:30PM "their time" so it hopefully won't feel like a typical "getaway game" to them.

It was a crap result but there were far worse plays out there (Tigers and Phils). I think Brewers was a solid risk/reward. They pulled a no-show for the 2nd straight night. Hope they enjoyed the SD nightlife at least.
