I think people also forget BYU isn’t a G5 they’re independent so they have more clout than most P5 schools in schedules

Multiple sources saying the opposite including ESPN and CBS. Here’s Feldman.

Luginbill just said it on ESPNU Radio. I don’t believe it because UW is trying to get a game when they’re contracted to go another route inside PAC.

Until a UW source and BYU source puts their name on it it’s conjecture.

I am not sure if why BYU would commit now when Utah is going to be available.

If Utah is available then UW and Utah have to play. Last I heard is Utah rescheduled for Sunday. That change?

Another factor is rescheduled are played on Sunday correct? BYU isn’t playing on a Sunday. I just thought of that. So it could be UDub offered but it’s a Sunday knowing full well BYU wouldn’t play to smear them in a way.

Source: Some context on the potential BYU-Washington game. BYU is interested in playing, but only if they can lock in a contract immediately. They are concerned that Pac-12 will make UW play Utah on Sunday if ASU can't play. "If we can get a game locked in, we want to play."

No. Try could play any day. UW’s AD vocally said they are looking to schedule a game. Highly doubtful they would be scared of BYU. Rather, BYU is scared of losing its ranking and big bowl game. Check the facts.

I think you need to check facts BYU isn’t scared of UDub. They’ve played multiple times over the years. I know UDub has won last 3 but it’s a pretty even series. Last was what 49-20 in Seattle? I love how people try to shite on BYU because they don’t need others You need to remember they’re an Indy so they’ve got some clout, they got own network, own ESPN deal, and a guaranteed bowl as part of ESPN deal

This is doubtful. Not aware of a rule that requires a Sunday game. What is an issue is that PAC 12 requires PAC 12 conference games if available up to Thursday. So if Utah come available by Thursday, the UW game with BYU would have to be cancelled. I could see that being the hiccup, especially since Utah is BYUs rival. That type of certainty I get. But I also get BYU is overrated and wants to coddle that ranking.

Yeah, USC isn't going to Provo. They were just in Salt Lake City.

USC's remaining games are all at home and the State of California likes that.

You’re right. UW had a subpar year last year and throttled BYU 45-19.

Bragging about beating a 7-5 BYU team at home huh?

UDub was what 8-5?

Both lost to Utah and beat SC if I remember right

You’ve played two games. BYU has played near a full season of games.

UW fans seem full of false bravado after smacking around the conference’s rag doll.

Not bragging. Supporting the fact BYU is massively overrated this year and wants to coddle that ranking. You just don’t like the reports that exist.

UW deserves to be a top 25 team but they aren’t. That’s a good point.

Pac 12's restriction this year requires any potential non-conference game to be played at a Pac 12 school, not a road game.

Utah/USC/UCLA aren't signature wins to get them into the playoffs either. Only Oregon would carry any real sort of national weight IMO from that conference
