They announced it last week. BYU doesn’t need Washington. The Huskies need BYU in this move. BYU will only play 1 of 3 teams

Reports now that BYU wants to wait for rankings on Tuesday and will play only if they need the game.

If Utah can’t play, UW has to play them first.
There’s a lot of moving parts. Playing at Provo after playing OSU and Arizona would be interesting.

Why will they only play those teams? I get wanting to recruit Southern California but in this season they should take what they can get from a P5 conference

Utah is a rival and really doesn’t want to play them. Recruiting and BYU is calling the shots not other way right now. The PAC needs BYU this time BYU can say we got MWC teams willing to do what we want.

UW is likely not going to be able to play then. ASU probably can’t play. Utah will have first rights.
