Certainly there are female scammers. But then there are the Shawn Kemps of the world who had 15 kids with 12 different women. Sports Illustrated ran an article yrs ago re the number of pro athletes who had 7 or more kids by different women & the numbers were staggering. One pro agent was quoted as saying his biggest job was making sure all the child support money went out in time to all his clients' kids. $60 a mth sounds high, but then, how much was he earning then? That is what the formula is based on.

Meh, he made the choice to upload kids, it doesn't happen accidentally.
Sure
But there needs to be a cap on alimoney IMO
60k a month for getting knocked up by someone with a high income (which is very temporary) is just outright theft.

I agree. The thought that a housewife is entitled to a certain standard of living that she had during a marriage is ridiculous. Plus, with these athletes and other fathers, these judges 'assume' that the salary is maintained for years, when in reality, it may not be.

The majority of the money is for child support, not alimony. Perhaps a technicality when it comes to cashing the checks, admittedly.

It's his own fault. 5 kids with 5 women. He pays his ex a lot too, because he fricked her over, cheated, etc.
Well hell, if they're making guys write checks for cheating can I get mine?
Oh that's right, I'm not a gold-digger mooching off an athlete by using my kid as a bargaining chip. For as dumb as Sapp is, let's not act like these chicks are poor pitiful baby mommas that just can't function without $60,000 a month.

It's fun to poke at the athlete who's run out of money, but men are royally fricked by the system as it relates to kids/divorce, and it's really sickening.
As a Divorced Father I agree with this statement!
