Jay Walker still has a show? He is way over the top in dislike toward anything non UL.
He always seemed to take differing opinions backed with facts very personally. I thought he felt like he had to be the authority, even when wrong.

Jay still has his show
He doesnt go after lafayette area LSU fans much any more because there is a lot of positives to talk about with ULL these days.he usually just dismisses their calls or ignores them and moves on.
Ironically jay has a rep for being anti-lsu but he actually went to LSU
I think jay has more animosity towards the politicians and bigwigs in the state for the years of neglect ULL has received in funding processes and the like. I never got the impression he has a real dislike of LSU sports themselves but I know he dislikes elitist lsu fans that call his show to antagonize him.

I wonder how an exclusively LSU bar would pan out in Lafayette? I know it would drive those guys nuts, but I think it could be pretty successful. What do you guys think?

i think it could be big if marketed the right way (ie, being complete assholes about it)

Thats what I was thinking too. Like "Roll Tide" painted in the toilet bowls, or the Start of a Green Wave written above the urinals, and absolutely nothing pertaining to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette anywhere in the place.

Seems like a sound investment. Let me know when you've scheduled the grand opening.

I think they did a great Jon of splitting the LSU ull theme. I really like the painting on top of the main entrance. Anyone noticed it?
Theguy who said the quote is butthurt. They do the ull football and basketball coaches show there.

We need a darrells poboy. Talking about the one in lake chuck. . I know the owner He's from new Iberia he said he's been thinking of opening one up in Broussard. Gah damn them things are good.

And what is wrong with oilfield workers Henderson? A more suitable place would be Youngsville/Broussard area for them and such a bar as this, although I would love to see one smack dab in the middle of Lafayette on Johnson Street.
