I wondered the same thing because it was so close to the sideline. I figured if UCF lost the interception call that control and out of bounds would be why .

UCF looks weak on the LOS on both sides of the ball. Particularly their Run defense and on offense their pass protection is terrible.

They are starting to get gashed.

I think it started a bit at the end of the first half. That turnover really has kept it closer because GT was marching down the field before that INT. Now GT is running with authority and UCF looks gassed.

GT should just run the ball the rest of the game on offense.

He earned all of that horse collar call.

Gasparilla sounds like some kind of drink.

The Gasparilla Bowl is an annual NCAA-sanctioned post-season college football bowl game played in the Tampa Bay area. It was first played in 2008 as the St. Petersburg Bowl at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.
The game was renamed the Gasparilla Bowl in 2017 as a nod to the legend of José Gaspar, a mythical pirate who supposedly operated in the Tampa Bay area and who is the inspiration for Tampa's Gasparilla Pirate Festival. In May 2018, the owners announced the bowl would be relocated to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.

Thats wild for a name, I wonder who pays sponsorship? I doubt the festival makes enough money unless the owner just covers expenses. Pretty cool story though

I'm wondering if UCF did any conditioning work before the bowl game - looks like they are getting tired.

They've been blowing games in the second half all year.

I think against Baylor they allowed 29 unanswered points and lost by a point after being up like 35 -7 with 18-19 minutes left in the game

I think its over now. UCF had it going on but lost all momentum. Then coschimg decisions were bad. Now they are just outmanned and out of emotional energy they started with.

27-17 GT

Brent Key has quietly brought GT out of being a laughingstock and honestly we should be a top 25 team next season. Everyone is back and we have a good recruiting class, the future is finally looking up

It doesn't look like they have a full P5 roster yet.

It's played in Tampa and the festival is located there too. That's pretty much it.

This game might end up being like 41-17 unless UCF can catch a break or get some momentum.

It's been a long, long time since it could be said that Tech is the more physical team.
