Why not call a timeout after 3rd down, force Texas to kick the FG and at least give your team one final shot to tie?

THIS

why the hell did they just quit?

I can't believe Oregon State lost this game... First they refused to bench Vaz then they decided to abandon the run.

yep a huge choke job by OSU. Had so many possibilities to blow the game wide open but seemed to get complacent with the 10 point lead they had all game.

I'm so confused by Texas, they show up to some games but get blown out in others.

Mike Riley apparently doesn't realize he can call timeouts. He should have called one before the half too.

His coaching was seriously questionable. After a drive of all runs to take a 10 point lead, he refused to stick with the run. How do you get your biggest lead of the game, in the 2nd half, and start throwing MORE with a QB that is clueless and a right end that makes Strief look like a pro bowler?

It makes no sense. That's not the decisions of a guy trying to actually win.

Did we ever get an answer on BOTH refs throwing their hats and then just nonchalantly picking them up?

Gray was forced out of bounds by the defender so he was allowed to come back in and make the catch

Not when the QB is out of the pocket.
