Said he wouldn't have seen the field as a QB at any major D1 program. You know like an LSU, Texas, Baman, SC, UGA, etc.
well since he was better at qb than 4 out of those 5 teams you are wrong

and Baylor was one of if not the only school that wanted him as a QB.
that is just beyond wrong

What makes you think he would? Lee had more talent, and he didn't. Maybe RGIII doesn't develope at LSU like he did at Baylor. We'll never know. Could play this game all day.

If he goes to UGA out of high school, good chance he's moved to WR/DB without really getting a chance at QB. You don't know that he becomes the player he does at Baylor anywhere besides Baylor.

talent like that rises to the top no matter where they are yes you know Heisman talent. He went to Baylor for more than just football reasons

From ESPN:
My point exactly.
Had he gone to a major D1 powerhouse, he might have never received the chance to shine at QB like he did at Baylor.

Robert Griffin III could've been a Longhorn had Texas recruited him as a quarterback

Teams weren't recruiting him as a QB let alone gonna give him an opportunity to beat out anyone at QB.
Texas has had QB problems since McCoy, and RGIII was bigger, faster, stronger than any Texas QB the past couple years yet Texas didn't even want to give him a shot whatsoever at QB.

yea you know that coach at Stanford who played QB in the NFL sure didn't want him as a QB please just STFU
b/c they felt they had their guy sucks for them they were wrong. once again he went to Baylor for reason other than just football.

you do realize lots of college players are given a chance at multiple positions and are moved if one does not work out. he started as a true freshman bro no one agrees with your stupid fricking stance on RG3
He was the 12th rated overall QB coming out of HS your assertion that no other top D1 program would give him a shot is beyond dumb esp looking at the guys in that class

Coming out of high school, he was recruited by several big-name schools like LSU and Oklahoma. They saw a kid who was also a star on the track and basketball teams and thought, “Gee, wouldn’t this dude be great running routes or shutting down receivers?” (03) and tried to recruit him as a wide receiver or defensive back. It’s the curse that follows many super athletic QBs and it was about to follow RG3, until his father stepped in.
BOOM

Recruited by some schools as a WR or safety but signed with Houston coach Art Briles as a QB and then followed him to Baylor.
Oh man. But it's fricking absurd to think that if he went to a top D1 program that he'd never get a realistic shot at QB?
Russell Shepard was the #1 QB recruit coming out of hs and has never taken a snap at QB nor ever given an opportunity to play QB. But it's so fricking difficult to fathom RGIII not being given the opportunity or developing like he did at a big time D1 program.

How many houses did USC buy for those families?

you are beyond dumb just b/c LSU and OU don't want him as a QB does not mean others didn't

6'1 180 guy playing college QB yea everyone knew that was not going to happen even him
while RG3 actually has the size of a QB
awful fricking comparison

You've spoken to the coaches at these schools confirming he was being recruited as a QB and would be given every opportunity to play QB and can assure one that he develops like he did at Baylor at those four schools?

he specifically said he wanted to play WR so he could get playing time right away. he would have been on the bench as a QB
next?

to think he would not even be given a shot is beyond dumb like i said early most college players esp 4 star guys like him are given a chance to shine at their primary position before being moved.

It's "beyond dumb" yet schools weren't going to give him a shot before he even made it to campus...
