This is my first post!

I know its still a few weeks until the USC vs. OSU game. Just wondering what your thoughts are on this game. It should be a good one. Who do you want to win as an LSU fan?

Ohio State. I'd love to see an upset in L.A.

USC. No one in the Big 10 will beat OSU and if they win in LA, they will have an easy road to the NC. Does anyone really want to see OSU get rolled in the NC 3 years in a row?

it would be nice to see USC lose so early in the season, but i just cant see that happening. Carroll seems to be good at preparing for the big games... Even the Texas-USC championship, they were prepared... Vince Young was just too much

Sure. They have an excellent shot at becoming the Buffalo Bills of college football.

HATE TO TELL YOU, BUT EVEN if USC beats them, OSU will still make it to the BCSNCG. Unless Illinois steps up again this year like they did last year!

not necessarily... The winner of that game will most probably go to the NC game... the loser will still have a shot but a 1 loss big ten team wont make it over a 1 loss SEC or Big 12 team.

I think Ohio State takes this one.

I'm actually starting to wonder if USC may be a tad overrated this season. I hope they aren't to be honest, but I'm starting to wonder.

in my opinion, USC is always a good football team, but always an overrated football team... the year they lost to Texas they were being touted as the best Team ever, and that they could beat the Miami Dolphins that year....

FWIW, USC will have an easier road if they win than OSU IMO TBH. They will just have to watch out for those 40 point underdogs.

That year, they were pretty damn good. I didn't think they were overrated that season(as in where they were in the Polls).
Trust me, we played Texas that year and Texas was no joke.

I just think their Poll rating and where the team actually stands right now might be a bit off.
Hope they prove me wrong though(and hope that we still win )

I really wouldn't care who won this, I hate USC and love to see them lose, but then again, seeing tOSU win and get to another NCG would be painful, given even if they win they could still get there so I guess I have to root for the Buckeyes.

yeah USC was good that year... but beat an NFL team? no... yes they are overrated this year... and yes OSU has a crapload of talent returning, but to play in that conference... it is an easy road every year for OSU until Michigan can get back on top.... The USC game will be a tough one for OSU, but after that OSU has no one

True...this is why I hate that the rankings come out so early...IMO, any rankings that factor in to the BCS should not come out until week 7. This way, these teams with the cake schedules would have to really "fight" to make it to the big show. If that were the case, we would never talk about USC or OSU on this rant because we wouldn't have to worry about them.

also... does anyone even think we should rank this early.... yeah we can judge who has talent, but until they get on the field why should these two teams be ranked so high.... OSU was at the top 2 years straight before getting raped by a superior team in a superior conference.

USC will have it's starting tailback out, possibly starting QB out, no true receiving threat, and replaced alot along the OL. Thier D will be nasty, possibly the best in the country.

OSU returns basically everyone from a damn good team last year. I think Beanie Wells is your Heimsan winner this year. Boeckman is definately a servicable QB. Robiske and Hartline are very good WR. Thier D will be the best in the Big10 and probably top 5 in the country.

OSU by 7-14. I would say by 14 for sure, but the game is in LA
