I don't think the OP knows what the frick he is talking about.

First he says the 92 team was Erickson's best.

In his next post he says they didn't have any draft picks.

Erickson' best was 90 and 91 with the remaining players from Jimmy Johnson

Erickson inherited more gold than he left with
Meaning the cupboard had everything in it when he walked it and the guy never replaced what he used

So his peak team wasn't the 92 team like you claimed on the last page?

The peak of Dennis Erickson was the 1992 team

I pushed it a year forward thinking Miami played Alabama in 93 and the Sugar Bowl in 94

Anyway you are speaking of a Dennis Erickson team
The man who pretty much led to a short term destruction of Miami. The pre Larry Coker

This is one of the stranger posts I've seen on here.

A real Miami or USC team would destroy Alabama right now

Like this real Miami team did?

When Miami went into that game the #1 in the country, does that mean Bama didn't face a Miami at its "peak"?

Yes. Also please ignore the 29 game win streak they were on. Not peak Miami. You don't want none of peak Miami.

Which QB would you rather have faced Steve Walsh, Vinny Testaverde, Bernie Kosar or Gino Torretta

Even Ken Dorsey was better than Gino

I thought the Big East sucked so according to that logic did that 29 game winning streak mean anything

Because they didn't join the Big East until
1991

Peak Miami was not apart of the Big East

Heisman Gino Torretta was an all-time great until Alabama got to him. Not our fault he never recovered.

Also Alabama won that game with Jay Barker at QB.

Three years earlier when Miami was closer to when they were very dominant Miami smashed on Bama in the Sugar Bowl

But you sure remember that game three years later and act like Miami was a much better team then

But truthfully it wasn't as the late 80's Miami teams
Would have killed that team in 92

LOL Last time I watched a real Miami team play Alabama, Miami got their shite pushed in by an Alabama team that couldn't throw the ball more than 8 yards downfield.

Miami from 1990-93 had 12 players go in the first 3 rds. You're retarded. Miami is garbage and Richt may get talent but he'll squander it. Just look what he did at a better program in uga.

But most of them were gone by 92
The 90 and 91 teams lost a lot of talent
The 91 drafts had 9 but 7 from rounds that still existed in 95
The 92 drafts had 6 with 3 from rounds which still existed
If you look at their replacements
How many players were drafted from the U in 94 and 95
The 95 draft had 5 players
The 96 draft had 2 players
This is what was replacing Jimmy Johnson's players by Dennis Erickson. It may include two HoF players but overall in terms of talent in was not

During this "peak" you allude to, the U went 5-5 in bowl games. Something that cartoon of a 30 for 30 somehow fails to mention.
