Interesting article on the ratings. Touches on the issue of accounting for viewers at bars, parks, etc.

Some independent study for the last World Cup found out-of-home viewing would add about 23% to the overall audience. If that's an average for the whole WC I imagine that percentage would be higher for each of the US games considering the crowds we've been seeing.
