slow, the dutch have all the skill in the world, but they cant play together, so they shouldnt even count

if you are gonna play a 4-3-3, you have to have the baddest player in the area playing your center mid, as well as ridiculously conditioned outsides

playing a 4-3-3 spreads out the most important part of the field WAY too much

The US ball movement is actually better than CRC's from the defense up to the midfield, but once it gets to the top 3 players it just falls apart. Heck the top 3 never get the ball on their feet, they keep having to chase down passes well out of their way.

CRC's movement is long ball, missed tackle then a quick one two right at edge of US box.

if we come back and tie we will remain 1 pt above CR. if we lose then we will be down 2 pts, and fall to 2nd.

i still say the US can be serious players, but we just need to have a youth movement.

and also, we desperately need the mls to become a good league, or to have some form of youth development systems. doubt it ever happens though

see, they just said it, "freddy adu could come in"

why is he NOT in

yep!!! My team had the conditioned outsides, but lacked the beast lone central mid, so we opted to a 3-2-3-2. We still had the same midfield with the same 3, but it made our defense unbelievably strong and very hard to even get to our box. And so long as our wing mids ran up the flanks our attack was just as good as the standard 4-4-2.

Mastroeni is the perfect guy for one of the two stopper roles just behind the midfield, but the US is lacking the other one though.

Yes, but it sure might hurt the week where the rest of the CONCACAF plays and we don't due to this match being moved up.

this is what we need

the dutch have a country of 16M

plenty of those 16M don't like soccer or will suck

you can't tell me we don't have 16M people in the pool for soccer
