NEVER performed arguably the most important role of a college head coach.

Mehhhh now it’s more allocating money and roster management vs. relentlessly stalking kids. Oregon is getting guys to sign that never even visited. The game has changed.

I think he is just doing this out of boredom, or to have easier access to score with sorority girls. Otherwise, he's not going to do very well, for very long, in a situation where the players have most of the leverage.
I think he’s figured out the NFL doors are shut. If he’s not hired this cycle (which he probably has a read on to take the UNC job) he’d be 74 to open the following season. At that point I’m not sure anyone will prefer him. A curmudgeonly aging X’s and O’s guy is not ideal

I just think this is dumb for everyone. Colorado had nothing to lose with Prime and even if they were bad the entire tenure they were going to get a financial windfall with low cost of dumping him. No idea what the economics will be but with the succession plan with the son I would imagine this would be a much bigger pain to untangle

How 'bout that 2024/2025 offseason!

BB brought in to the change the football culture (or lack thereof) at UNC and get donors to increase NIL budget to Big Boy level.

And he was cheap as shite in New England.

I mean not really, they have a salary cap in football and they all spend it. He just didn't like paying a handful of star players and instead preferred paying a bunch of role players more.

That worked when he had Tom Brady, but not so much after.
