Just wonder what the longterm effects of the surgery could be if there are any....I'm no doctor.

Talked to a source close to UNC. Kendall Marshall will have surgery Monday. Hopeful he'll play in Sweet 16. But it's considered "unlikely."

The Final Four is the most important part if he is ever going to play and we are able to play the rest of the tournament.

No way they beat KU or NC St in Elite 8 w/o him...even if he plays its doubtful he'll be nearly as effective! I hate it and it sucks, but their NC hopes are gone! I've never seen a team this snake bit...3 of their top 6 players preseason are done, plus Henson isn't 100%.... no team at any level in any sport can overcome that!

I believe they can beat NC State, but KU I am not so sure of at all. Sad that the dream titan match up isn't likely to be at full strength.

im so fricking pissed. just another way to blame kansas for losing and give them no credit for winning. unc has nothing to lose now and an excuse for eternity. not to mention ive been wanting to see tyshawn taylor vs. kendall marshall all year.

i dont know, if KU plays like they did for most of tonight then yes, but i think they've now gotten their bad game out of their system
