ULL, the only way they can win.

But that is not what the cajuns put on the floor. They should have been penalized for what they did. I have no idea how marlin handled this with his team but I can make an educated guess based on his comments to the media:
1) its ok to cheat if you don't get caught
2) always blame somebody else
Yeah that's not a biased opinion or anything.
The refs should have did there job and caught it. No coach in the country is going to stop a play IF they notice his team has one to many players on the court and it will cost his team the game. To say he thinks it's ok to cheat and lay off the blame is ludicrous. No coach would have done different IF they noticed that series of events. Yeah it's good to laugh at and it cheapens the win, but that is where it stops. Everything else is a conspiracy.

1. This is 100% on the officials. One of them is responsible for counting "10" on the court.
2. Anyone saying the 6th person doesn't matter just because he's standing there is basketball ignorant.
3. Anyone saying ULL should have just pulled the guy is dumb as well. If you go by that line, then we don't need officials because the players and coaches will be honest all the time and call fouls and violations themselves.

Is it shocking that people at a community college can't count?

BREAKING: #WKU men's basketball coach Ken McDonald has been fired, affective immediately. Ray Harper will resume duties.

Statement from Director of Athletics Ross Bjork
“I have recommended to President Gary Ransdell that Ken McDonald no longer serve as our head men’s basketball coach, and he has agreed and supports my decision. President Ransdell and I met with Coach McDonald this morning to inform him of the decision, and then we met with and informed the entire men’s basketball staff. I also met with our student-athletes and discussed the reasons for our conclusion and told them that we are committed to all of them as students and athletes here at WKU, and we owe them the ‘great program’ they signed up for. All of our student-athletes are the number one priority for WKU Athletics.
“I want to thank Coach McDonald for his efforts during the eight-and-a-half years he served as our assistant and head men’s basketball coach. We all appreciate the time he has given to WKU, and we wish him well.
“Last spring, I felt Coach McDonald deserved the opportunity to begin positive trends with a new season, and we witnessed some encouraging elements during the summer and fall under his direction. Unfortunately, as this season has progressed, the plan has not worked out. We have a 5-11 record and do not rank in the nation’s top 200 in virtually any statistical category. This is not what the WKU basketball program should represent. While we pride ourselves on having an energetic and exciting atmosphere in Diddle Arena, our attendance levels are reaching historic lows. These disturbing facts are unacceptable, and we can no longer continue on this troubling course. Confidence, respect – locally and nationally, public support and an overall positive perception of the WKU men’s basketball program is lacking. Our historic program is too strong to be in this position. Simply put, WKU men’s basketball needs a new voice.
“Coach Harper has had proven success as a head coach, and we are excited to see how our team responds under his direction. Let me be clear, we are not giving up on this season. We have 13 conference games remaining, and we still believe this year’s team has much to achieve.”
Needs to be an asterisk.

Cajuns had 20 turnovers in that game. WKU should have dominated that game, they didn't.
Elfrid styled on them.
Deal with it.

How could no one on the court on either team notice this? It's not like it was a split second play. It was 12 seconds and two possessions.

Two things:
Threeputt is a fricking moron
and
It's hilarious that this happened to Western Kentucky. Those goat frickers deserve this.

He also made a three from Jemmer range. JJ Thomas took the game over in the second half, well until we went into a shitastic zone and let them come back.

Mone has worked on his jumper. He hit a couple deep threes.
Jay asked Marlin about it and he said he got T'd up earlier trying to discuss something so he felt we needed an advantage
Then he said seriously he didn't find out until a coach asked josh brown if he was on the court.
I think it's awesome that it happened at Diddle. I just feel bad for the farm animals in the vicinity.

Western Kentucky men's basketball coach Ken McDonald was fired this morning after the Hilltoppers' 72-70 overtime loss at home Thursday to Louisiana-Lafayette, WKU Senior Associate Athletic Director Todd Stewart told the Daily News.
It was the Hilltoppers' 11th loss of the season, their fifth loss in the last six games and their 27th loss in the last 48. A news conference is scheduled for 2 p.m. today at E.A. Diddle Arena.
Assistant coach Ray Harper will become the interim head coach for the remainder of the season.
McDonald was in the midst of his fourth season at WKU and had compiled a 67-49 record overall. He guided the Hilltoppers to a 25-9 record his first season, when WKU reached the NCAA tournament's second round. WKU finished 21-13 in 2009-10 and 16-16 last season.
This year's team, which is 5-11 overall and 1-2 in the Sun Belt Conference, includes seven freshmen and nine total newcomers in one of the program's most heralded recruiting classes.

Those idiots have one good year in football so they overreact about a bad start. Conference play just started.
