My nephew is a lineman for ULL.....he saw it happen.... he's really hurting......

Crap. DJ was a State Bulldog. Was hoping we could get him back home eventually. RIP Big Man.

My nephew is a Cajun OLman and he's pretty shaken up. Said they were running from one drill to the next and the poor guy faceplanted. Hate this for those guys. He was a good coach.

Horrible situation all around. All you ever heard was how loved Coach Looney was. Gone way too soon.

heart issues are serious business. Lost a coworker in his early 30s not that long ago. Guy wasnt even a big dude, just carrying too much stress I guess.

That's got to be something that will be so difficult to overcome for those players, especially for someone as young as he was and how jovial people have said he was. That's rough
