Today is the 10th anniversary of Bonnar/Forrest. Amazing how 1 fight completely changed the landscape of mma.
Edit: I wasn't watching back then (not until 06), but how close did Pride come to buying the UFC?

To be honest, that fight didn't thrill me as much as most people. Sure, both guys were warriors, but it just wasn't a very skillful fight. It was a good battle, but I think it gets overrated as a fight. By the end of it, it was like watching two kids playing with Rock Em Sock Em Robots.

Edit: And yeah, Cuba sucks. Lombard and Rory would've fought until the former pissed hot for 'roids.

Ya but his corner right now is coaching him to wall and stall. He gets going and the fight starts to get exciting then break time on the cage for a minute or two. Almost all the fights have been boring just because of wall and stalls. It is easily the worst part of MMA right now.
