I have always loved Edgar but he become a top 5 favorite fighter of mine after the first Maynard fight. I didn't know it was possible for a human to take a beating like that he took in the 1st and live, much less go for four more rounds. If you haven't seen it you need to watch it on Fight Pass, it is fricking unreal! It was Fight of The Year and easily deserved.

ETA: I meant to say the second Maynard fight

I went to Fox 13 in PHX and got two 3rd row tickets for $500 each off of Craigslist, it was much more on StubHub.

I thought so until your last post when you said 2 for $500. I think the face on ours was about $250 each, aftermarket they were $500 each and that was the cheapest I could find that close, and it was the closest. There were no 1st or 2nd row at any price on any site here.

He got screwed against Bendo in their rematch. Dude should still be Lw champ.

I was always of the mindset that he lost the 1st Bendo fight, won the 2nd and lost the Aldo fight.

Those were the ones with the most variance.

Oh, and the 2nd Maynard fight wasn't a draw.

The welterweight bout between Shane Campbell and Derek Boyle seemed like just an ordinary fight.

That is, until the third round, when Boyle dropped to his knee following a body kick from Campbell.

What happened next was both strange and amazing: Campbell took a step back and appeared to fire a hadouken.

For those of you not familiar with the "hadouken" term, it was made popular in the late 1980s and early '90s through the video game Street Fighter.

Maybe, maybe not, considering that Pettis lost to Guida.

Or considering Edgar got dropped about five times by the caveman striking of Maynard
