Great win for Uriah bc Simon is criminally underrated. I thought Simon hurt him and got careless.
As for Ladd/gd fight....wth was herb dean thinking? Yeah she looked very hurt but if she’s not locked up unconscious you don’t come running in there.

I like Faber but he’d get murdered by HC. He’d be outclassed anywhere the fight went.

I haven’t seen Faber in at least 10 years. He was awesome when he fought in that other division before UFC took over the little guys. He was fun as frick to watch.

May have been quick stoppage but Ladd was dazed and had both gloves on the canvas and was defenseless. Frenchy was coming in to pound and landed one. That was enough for Dean.

Meh, appeared she got flashed came back and was attempting to get to guard.
I believe herb saw her pause for a moment and didn’t know she was just flashed and not ko’d.
If you’ve ever been flashed before you know you can recover from it (younger fighters seem to recover faster). We saw guys flashed/knocked down all night without being stopped. The consensus from most on mmafighting is that is was very premature.
All that being said I believe it was too much too soon for her. Much like with Askren last week I just wish we’d have got to see more to see how the styles would have matched up.

Faber is a great wrestler, has a thick core, scrambled well, and is a pretty solid striker. He also has great cardio, which is what killed moraes in the last fight against cejudo.
I think he matches up well with cejudo.
