Another great time of year for us sports fans. College football and NFL will be rolling, MLB will be towards the end of their postseason, NBA will be starting up and now these awesome fights.

A full day of football capped off with a ufc event as the weather gets cooler is a great day/night.

Same. I'm sure the money is what's bringing her back but she doesn't really have anything to gain (outside of money) by coming back. She retired as the goat, there's really nothing she needs to add to her legacy.

I think there is some bad blood between her and kayla. I expect to see the best amanda nunes ever.

Amanda left American Top Team because of Kayla didn't she??

Amanda has not looked great in a few yrs, but she also was probably going through the motions because there was virtually no competition.

If the fight is at 135, Kayla will have a big disadvantage because of the weight cut. If they can do it at 145, she will would be the favorite, I'd think.

That's like a double aught-packed card. Good events ahead to look forward to.

It’s time to start stacking cards and moving the divisions. I feel like the cards been lacking a little for a while now. 318 was a disgrace as far as ppv goes

I genuinly think Dana was holding back fights and matchups until after the new media rights negotiating window opened.

He's going to throw everything against the wall for the next 6 months-yr to try to get the biggest media deal from Amazon it Netflix he can. Capped off with the White House fight.

It's A very very smart business move. shite for the fans who watched a bunch of shite cards, but if we can get all the PPVs on Prime, it would be worth it.

I don't want Netflix getting the rights with their shite show of a broadcast team, but I imagine they will stop at nothing to have WWE and UFC in the umbrella.

I hope you're right, but Netflix has been displaying a somewhat ambivalent face most recently.

I doubt the ufc will give up rights to control of the broadcast. From listening to Dana for many years he seems to be really hands on with the broadcast and feels that’s what separates his product from others in the combat sports world

The best time of year.

Daydreaming about days like that is what gets me through the brutal end of the summer

It really is. Luckily I’ve got a couple work trips up north in august for a little relief from the heat.
