Pretty sure he's now with ATT.

Now several old CB and BTT guys train together like Anderson Silva/Big Nog.
Did you catch the sherdog article on Anderson Silva/Wandy?

quote:
“Wanderlei didn’t say anything to help me,” Anderson said. “He even knew that I had four children to raise. If it were not for ‘Minotauro’ putting pressure and bringing me to Pride, I would certainly be retired.”
quote:
“How much do you weigh? So why are you going to get yourself in trouble?” Anderson asked of Wanderlei.
quote:
Asked to name five opponents that he considered ready to face him for a title shot, Anderson didn’t include Wanderlei or Wanderlei’s new training partner, Demian Maia. In fact, he had a message for Maia too: “Saying that you will beat me up or submit me is very easy, but there have been people trying to do that for some time and are not reaching their goal, Demian.”

Luis Cain. I may be spelling his name wrong.

Forgot about him. Yeah, I have no clue about him.

Anderson Silva/Wandy?
Wandy's going to 185 after the Franklin fight. They might give him a warm up fight before Silva (if he still has belt). This could get good.

Henderson/Silva Part III?
The two before were great fights. Hendo should have won the first one too. That second fight KO of Wandy was wicked.

Yeah but I wasn't thinking right. That definitely would not be a warm up fight for Wandy at 185
Is it set that the winner of the Bisping-Hendo fight is getting a shot at the title?

I don't know if that has ever been set. Gotta figure Maia and Marquardt are somewheres in the picture too.

I haven't heard that one. Makes sense though

“He is too cocky. I hope he can read this. … I never talked anything bad about him; I always respected him. He has always been my friend, always respected me, but now he came with that statement. I can’t understand that. I didn’t come down to 185 to face him. Actually I didn’t have that intention. … Changing divisions and fighting the champion would be too pretentious. I should have to have many fights before facing him, but concerning his last statements, I think the way is open and the war is declared.

Wandy at least would have the huge advantage of really knowing Anderson's tendencies inside and out. Otherwise I would say he is the perfect guy for Anderson to absolutely destroy.
I still think Anderson would get him though obviously.

He is better than Wandy at all of Wandy's strengths.
Posted on 4/18/09 at 12:57 pm to etm512
Yeah, that to me is the definition of over matched in a fight.

Someone post a link as soon as you can.

never heard of that but surfthechannel usually has a couple links. The justin.tv one is the most consistant one.

It has a little too much Mayhem Miller yelling and jumping around for me.
He's seems normal at first, but I really think he has that much energy all the time and has a little bit of a screw loose. Perfect recipe for a MMA fighter.
