I didn't actually see the fight.

Lesnar fricked him up bad, huh?

Pretty much. Some even trades standing, Randy kept him up against the cage a bit, couple of good takedowns by Brock, then his huge fricking hands took out couture.

Looking back, I had no basis for my prediction, and I probably should just STFU when it comes to shite I know nothing about.....especially when I've been drinking.

This was Randy's worst possible matchup.

Lesnar isn't the best technical puncher, but he has those huge fists to possibly get a KO at any time.

He's a world class wrestler with a huge reach advantage. His biggest weakness isn't something Randy is that good at.

I'd like to see Lesnar vs. CroCop.

Someone earlier mentioned Lesnar vs. Fedor but i think Fedor would beat him quickly.

yall got to remember its not a cakewalk to take down Lesnar. He is a beast. I'm glad to see Lesnar as the new champ. I think it will make the sport bigger because he has popularity from wrestling.

Lesnar vs Fedor is a tough call IMO. Fedor could sub him in a hurry and Fedor can bang with just about anyone and come out on top. I don't know if he can bang with a guy with Brock's power though. Coin flip IMO. I knew he was a horrid match up for Randy. Honestly Dana should have made Brock fight Nog and Randy fight Mir and then have the winners fight IMO. Let Brock have the bad matchup.

i think cuts would be the only thing that could really trip fedor up with lesnar. he's got a good jaw, he was taking some wicked shots from that 10 foot tall chinaman that didn't seem to phase him too badly. fedor probably would have subbed lesnar out tonight around the time that randy had hold of one of his ankles but couldn't really do anything with it

I would pick Fedor if they fought, but Brock has a much better chance then most think. It isn't easy taking shots from a guy that size. I doubt Fedor would try the same thing he did with Timmay.

My feelings on the Couture vs Lesnar fight.

Randy fought very well. He got Brock on the fence with the clinch a lot of the time and even though he was losing, he certainly held his own. IMO, he tried to box too much with Brock. You can hit Lesnar with 5 or 6 shots but guess what......sooner or later you are going to have to take one off of him. Lesnar hits too damn hard to be doing that. I honestly thought once Randy got hit a few times he might even pull guard or something. I really had trouble thinking of a way for him to win this fight and that is why I picked against him. Even though Lesnar will be prone to getting subbed he will be a signifigant danger to anyone you put in there with him. In fact I don't think there is a fighter out there with better then a coin flips chance of beating him. He is probably going to lose fights here and there, but he will always be right in the thick of the heavyweight title guys.

Fedor would beat Lesnar any way he wanted to in less than 2 rounds.

Easy to say that when they don't have a fight in sight with each other.

Kongo would try to take him down for no apparent reason and then get raped.

That was a quick and easy 800. I think I called it about 3-4 pages back yesterday. Lester has huge hands and great power. Couture had no chance against someone with the exact same strengths as him but 14 years younger and 60lbs heavier. Lesner caught him and finished him 2nd round. Game over thanks for coming out.

By the way, I have said for a while now Lesnar is Fedor's biggest threat. That said, if Lesnar meets Fedor next year or within his next 2-3 fights, he will lose. He is not ready yet. One year plus and 4-5 more fights, I think Lesnar has a very real shot and would win, just not yet.

By the way, get ready for Lesnar to OWN Nog. I like and respect Nog and all, but Fedor threw him around like a rag doll and Lesnar is a hell of a lot bigger and stronger than Fedor. I do not know if I even want to see that fight. I think it will be ugly. Nog takes punishment like nobody's business and Lesnar will throw him and ground and pound him like there is no tomorrow.
