Really how did Bermudez win that fight??? Holloway easily won the first and 2nd round.

Do rounds not matter? He clearly lost the first 2

UFC judging is still shite and takedowns are worth gold in weight in this shitty scoring system.

What's a better scoring system? Everything has flaws.

I like prides system in judging the overall fight with more precedence on the final round of the fight. The round system they use in the UFC isn't bad though but they score takedowns way way too high. There is no way you could have given Bermudez the second round.

Pride judges still fricked up. That scoring system pretty much made the first 10 min round irrelevant if the other fighter finished strong.

ETA: Agree with takedowns though. Valued too heavily.

It's a fight it should be who is the person in the best shape and winning the battle when the fight ends. I personally like the Pride system better but as I said before I think the UFC system is fine if they just tweaked the whole takedown scoring. Pride was also a very corrupt organization which their judges valued japanese fighters much more then out of country fighters. LINK here is a fight where Coleman purposely threw a fight

I think Story blew his arms out trying to finish in the first round

Pyle won the 3rd Round.

He seemed a little hesitant around the 2 minute mark when Story was clearly gassed.

That is utterly laughable.

That's my personal opinion. I believe it should be predicated on how you finish the fight not how you start it.

You understand that this is not a street fight? It's an MMA bout. Making only the last 2 minutes of the 30 or 15 min fight would change everything.
