Dustin P vs Benson for the title. How long til it happens?

A year and a half?

Feels like poirier is 2 wins away from a title shot

Yeah, that would probably help.

Hey Shoulderchoke, I think you are on to something with that thimble comment.

He's clearly on the wrong path if he thinks damage shouldn't count for anything.

When did all the dmg happen though. The swollen eye and busted nose were in the first 2 rounds. In the UFC scoring system that dmg doesn't account for more in the later rounds. I'm just speaking for a judging standpoint and not the fight standpoint.

Personally I think damage should count for something, and cuts/bleeding are the most obvious visual signs of damage. But the truth is some guys cut easier than others by either facial structure, former scars that easily open and etc. Frankie hit Ben with some hard shots last night but the dude did not bleed, as a matter of fact I can not remember him ever bleed much if recall right. What about knee shots to the ribs or leg kicks to the thigh, that is damage but not as visually obvious as bleeding/cuts. I think that up-kick caused the majority of the bleeding Frankie had and definitely closed his eye. So Frankie's damage incurred was mostly from one shot, but if you did not know any better(did not watch the fight) you would have thought that Ben killed him.

The entire fight I thought Henderson was winning and it really wasn't that close. Dana thought that Edgar won the fight so we can expect a rematch I guess.

I guess Edgar should change his name to rematch instead of Answer.

I said this earlier and I'll say again...Boetsch's conditioning look phenomenal!!! I was thinking at the end of the second round when he was getting his arse kicked that he didn't look tired AT ALL! He just got up and walked back to his corner. It was liked he (caged)rope-a-dope Okami.

If that dude didn't have a cult following after this...

he does after this weekend.

Akiyama lost and will probably get cut, but his Judo throws were a thing of beauty!!

Also, looks like Pettis is getting the next shot at the belt, so I'm not sure what Frankie will do. Face Aldo @ FW? Fight Jim Miller for the #1 contender spot after he destroys baby Diaz?

I think Akiyama will get another fight at 170. I thought the fight was a lot closer than 30-27.

Yeah I hope he gets another chance. Hell, if Cantwell got that many shots, the Sexy one should as well. He looked good @ WW and always puts on a good show.....

Plus, he moistens the panties (wish I could find the .gif)
