wanted to start going after the heavy bag at the gym to break the monotony of cardio. i picked up some wraps and light gloves, do you have any advice you could let me know about doing it, rounds, time, etc. is it something that i could just nab advice from internet articles?

Yea.. Intensity would be your biggest challenge. Even I go in each bag workout with a goal. I'm either running serious power shots, or on a punch counter

If you tell me to just go a few rounds freelance, I won't do a whole lot of anything

It cant be a comfortable thing for you. Bag work is not a slow extended cardio thing. You have to really push for it to be fresh

wont be a problem. after training track and powerlifting the past 8 or 9 years, i dont have a lack of intensity.

it was either doing sprints outside, or doing a bunch of one minute rounds on the bag. i hate running, so i picked bag work. i read some things about doing a round of jabs, one of 1-2's and keep building each round until you are doing one minute rounds with full circling, counters and everything.

This fight just reaffirms Rogan's fetish for leg kicks.

Jesus man, you usually have intelligent things to say

You stop a fight if the fighter is taking unnecessary damage and can't protect himself. Not because a guy takes a couple of unanswered shots. The aesthetics actually have nothing to do with the medical/professional decision to stop a fight or let it go

I was joking about stopping the Brock fight, I just said that because everyone on here says that when they rip on Brock. I really do think Carwin is the best HW though and I think he will prove me right tonight.

I've always been a big DC fan, but dude was too cocky and disrespectful in that fight, imo. No need to act like that.
