Wow, interesting scores. I thought Young won the 2nd round for sure. Dustin might have stole it with the late takedown.

promise ring is not quick on his feet. i will say that this is some of the first ground and pound i have seen in a while. since greg jackson's philosophy has become testament, it seems to be phasing out.

nick ring opeened this guys nose up between the eyes with some brutal gnp. fight before that had a little blood too. krystof was pretty decent striking, but couldnt capitalize on a lighter opponent and won with an easy decision. pretty embarrassing outing for him. think back to the kendall grove v maia fight.

very impressive standing guillotine and wrestling there by Weidman. Dude looks huge for a MW.

Haplo, was the Ring guillotine in the 2nd a prediction of yours? I ask cause sherdog says he won by RNC in the 3rd.....just wondering.

i have no idea why i wrote that. i dont think it was a prediction, it must have been a horribly inaccurate recap.

Jesus man, you usually have intelligent things to say

You stop a fight if the fighter is taking unnecessary damage and can't protect himself. Not because a guy takes a couple of unanswered shots. The aesthetics actually have nothing to do with the medical/professional decision to stop a fight or let it go

He came back and WON the fight. There is no better indicator that a fighter is ok than him coming back and beating up the other guy.

Great job by that ref
