anyone would have been winded by the sheer volume of punishment he took...you have to see the fight

i've never seen rua take beating. was it all from the half guard?

i figgered jones would take him down if he tried all those leg kicks.

Jeezus guys, let's stop with the king making for a minute. Jones was very impressive and absolutely will only improve. Lesnar and Machida (to a lesser extent) received the same type of hype.

The only one I am seeing is the spinning backfist. Did it give you any trouble?

Jones landed one of the most brutal shots from full guard that you will ever see in the 3rd round from about 4-5 feet away

I might be overreacting some but I just don't see who can break his style.

Lesnar and Machida never turned in a performance like this. This was the most thorough beatdown of a champion I have ever seen.

I do believe that Rashad will give him a better fight than most people think. Rashad is very quick in his own right and may be able to consistently stay out of Jones' range.

It was from every angle conceivable. He was totally dominated standing up and on the ground.

He didn't. Jones took him down anyway.

The good thing is, it's not like we're seeing Jones/Silva next month if we ever do. Silva might still have GSP if he can get by Shields. And we know Jones has Rashad and then maybe Machida.

At the earliest I could see this fight happening in about a year. By that time, if he keeps at this pace I don't know that even Silva could beat him. The kid just appears to have too much upside

Rashad is fast, but very ineffective. I don't see any area that would allow Rashad to do damage to Jones.

there are a lot there. so, it will take them a while to load, but i am running a linux distro on a netbook, and i haven't had any problems. i would think that you would be able to load them fine.

I'm sure I am as well, however

-he's 23/doing this for only a few years
-he's physically superior to ANYONE in the division and that's undisputable
-he's hungry
-he just wrecked Shogun like nobody's business

Rashad relies heavily on one punch. Lets be honest, he straight up bitchedout of going toe to toe with Rampage. He held him against the wall all fight. He played for points the whole time. If he can't win off of a big punch, he has to hold you against the wall for points. I don't see Rashad taking Jones, although he could very easily land his pattented one punch.
