Silva needs to fight a solid wrestler and GnP-er at 205 next. I think that's the best chance anyone has against him, other than Machida who could outstrike him.

Forrest is good on the ground. If he had used Kenny's strategy, he might have had a chance. He got all wild and Chris Leban and had a similar result.

Would Silva come up or Machida drop down, it's almost a nonwin/nonwin situation for both guys. It would be a good fight though, that i would love to see

Silva would go up again, but come on that fight won't happen any time soon

quote:I think Forrest listened too much to everyone saying "Forrest comes to fight, Anderson won't be able to avoid fighting him!" So he just came forward, forward, forward, even after getting knocked down.

Forrest had a size advantage but didn't utilize it at all by just standing and trying to outstrike Silva.

I cant believe people actually think Griffin put in months of work to throw a fight
As for Lyoto, im not even sure he could handle Silva

i don't think so either. GSP/Silva would happen before Machida/Silva. So whose up next for Silva is the question?

I would rather see silva and gsp before silva and machida

Im just going off what I have seen, and that was matrix shite at the end of that fight

quote:If Silva beats another LHW in dominant fashion, I guarantee that's his next fight. He's a top 3 P4P fighter in the world (maybe the top P4P fighter), I don't think the UFC would hesitate to give him a title shot after another 205 victory.

His next fight will be against dan henderson for the middle weight belt

even though they have said they don't want to fight each other?

quote:Yeah, cause Dana has said he doesn't care about friendships, he'll make the fights happen. Can't blame him either. Machida-Silva is the GSP-Silva of four or so months ago. That's the fight everyone wants right now.

At 26-8-2, with 2 losses in his last 5 fights, both of which to Brazilians, and a former easy 1st round KO by Anderson Silva years ago..
The thought of Nate The Great fighting AS again, strikes me with lil' excitement..puncher's chance at best..lil' hope.
