On the other hand Gibbs had a great game. He looked more confident on defense and even got involved on many attacks. After the weekend league game I had chalked him up for giving up at least one goal in the game, but he played well.
Yeah, Gibbs is quite a talent for his age. I always think he'll slip up due to his inexperience, but he's got solid defending fundamentals and links up with Nasri well.

You can bet if he is still on the pitch when they meet up with Man U his inexperience will definitely cost them a goal.
With Giggs, Ronaldo, Rooney, and Teves Arsenal's depleted defense is going to be in a world of hurt.

I think they'll have Clichy, Djourou and Sagna back for the Semi-finals so that should help immensely.

I don't want to know what you typed in to get that picture, but I've never denied the obvious homosexuality of Cristiano. He and Torres have probably had many a sleepover.
Pictures of him wearing women's clothing came out a few years back, although this was before he was quite the player that he is now.
Considering that the football terraces in this country are the last bastion of homophobia and racism, it's surprising that no one really gave a shite.
Anyway, I was wrong about Arsenal tonight, they came out and played a much more attacking line up than I expected, and they were rewarded for it.

When does Arsenal not play attacking football? Besides Barca, and that is an if, does any club play a better style than Arsenal under Wegner?

In recent years Wenger had switched (or at least tried to, Hleb decided to leave) from playing two out and out strikers to swapping one for an advanced midfielder in the 'hole'. Considering they already had the advantage by having an away goal, it would've been very tempting to sit five men in midfield and just try to kill the game, in fact this is what I thought they'd do, and fail doing, but they went for the win and were rewarded.
I think they should always play 442, RVP is their best player, but Adebayor HAS to be played because RVP can't hold up the ball very well or win high balls, to play them both with Walcott as well is very attacking, especially with only the inexperienced Song in the holding role.

Second best to Fabregas. Cesc is the Chris Paul of the football world.

Early opinions...
Do you think Arsenal can take down ManU in the semis.
As an Arsenal fan, I honestly don't know. It all depends which Arsenal shows up. The one of late form or the one that's been known to look scared to shoot. Should be interesting...

Yes I do. No club has a better resume in the Premiership than Arsenal in the last six weeks. It will be difficult to unseat ManU, but not impossible.

Where do your allegiances lay anyways glassman? Sounds like you're a gunners fan but I'm unsure.

without a doubt.
will we? toss up...
we have the personnel, momentum, etc. to do it.
what makes me optimistic:
-we already beat ManU during undoubtedly our worst slump of the season, sandwiched between losses to Stoke and Man City.
-our focus is on being european champions, ManU still has the EPL to win, as well as a couple of other trophies.
-we're "hitting on all cylinders" right now
pessimistic:
-the state of our defense in two weeks. It's up in the air. Hopefully Djourou will be fit
-the fact that a heavyweight matchup is nearly impossible to predict. Could go either way and may come down to luck/refereeing.

I am a Gunners fan. But, I also like the way that ManU plays and I like it when Liverpool plays attacking football. Gunners over everyone else.

Yes, aren't they riding like a sixteen game unbeaten streak? They have steamrolled past Villa and now have a pretty comfortable margin for fourth place.

This next 3 week stretch will define our season, ManU in the CL semis, Chelsea in the FA Cup semis and Liverpool/ManU in the PL
