the men’s game will always be ahead of them. Don’t care if eventually women are catching lobs men by then will be throwing lobs off lobs or something.

They need to change the dimensions of the court and the height of the basket in women's basketball. Just changing the size of the basketball itself isn't enough. The physical disparities between the genders are highlighted when everything else is kept equal. It's essentially a different game.

The disparity in athleticism was on full display in the women's half pipe in Olympics last night. Some of those girls couldn't even get out of the pipe on jumps. I genuinely don't mind women playing sports and networks carrying their games but title IX has probably caused as much harm as it did good when it comes to competition. Maybe UCONN wouldn't dominate if only power 5 conferences had women's teams. I just don't understand how schools are forced to continue programs that are just gigantic money pits. I'd like to see how many women's athletic teams actually make money for their school. It has to be less than a handful.

It was the final four. South Carolina beat MSU for the title.

Our goal is to win the ACC Championship, which we are on course for doing. Glad this game has no implications in that

I watched some of the Notre Dame - UCONN game last year; I really tried. It looked like one team knew how to play, and the other team looked a team that had no idea how to play. I'd rather watch NBA than this trash.

That's why college softball is very watchable to me. They know it's a completely different sport and they make it a completely different game.

Exactly. The skills can be the same, but alter the game to play to the strengths of the athletes.

I remember the NO Hornets losing a playoff game by a similar score.

You could do that at the collegiate and pro level. Problem would be aligning this with their feeder programs (high schools).

That's where Title IX would actually be useful for once.
