I once had my thread title changed to a different format even though all appropriate info was provided and the score was being updated. Maybe you were just trolling me.
I see pathetic thread titles for game threads quite often. ETA….lackluster efforts at updating the score or just complete abandonment of a game thread. The caring level isn’t the same. Not even close.

Ha, no…don’t think it was me trolling.
Depending on the game, we might make it the formal looking game thread, like the Braves game from last night.
But, if someone starts a thread where they have the score in it initially, then yes…it would be great if that person could update the score as the game goes on.
Does it have to be perfect, no…but it should be pretty close. We do what we can to keep it consistent, but a few of the admins stay drunk, so I will admit that makes it difficult.

I actually thought I was just being messed with over the score, I mean who is suppose to sit there updating a score, sheesh! Three hours of updates, come on.
Hell just today had to run an errand for my MIL, My son needed a ride to his car, the wife needed some cooking oil from the store as I try to watch the NFL.
Who can just hang there for three hours?

Then don't start a game thread.
If you start it, it's your responsibility to update the score throughout.

It was a regular season pac 12 game. I had the teams, quarter, and score updated.
Not too long after I started someone changed it. The same info was there, it was just different.
