Chip Kelly was only the OC at the time, but I thought they were the best team in the country in 2007 before Dennis Dixon tore his ACL. They had three games left against unranked opponents and would taken LSU's spot against Ohio State in the NC game.

Not really his best chance because there were good SEC teams. Oregon doesn't beat good SEC teams with their gimmicky offense.
