Do me a favor and post the 2018 and 2019 stats for both players, the try to say with a straight face they had equal careers just because the TD totals matched.

Do your own work

You do make a point without even realizing it. If Tua does not get hurt last season, he does deserve the Heisman over Burrow

I don't need to. You apparently do after the stupid comparison you just tried to make.

How?

Extrapolating his stats to 13 games, he finishes with 4100 passing yards and 47 TDs. Burrow blew that out of the water and beat him head to head and had better team success.

I'm a troll for saying the truth that the Heisman is given for the best individual year?

It is apparent that you and I have a very different definition of how the Heisman trophy should be voted on.

Part of the Heisman trophy Wikipedia the award is listed for the most outstanding player in college football. It does not reference a time frame, unlike the associated press award for college football player of the year.

Yea, the best player gets it. Smith was the guy.

Herschel Walker also got fricked on the Heisman early in his college career by not getting it while putting up record numbers. He finally got it as a Junior.

Back then, they would never give it to an underclassman. I think Tebow was the first.

If he would have thrown up back to back 40 touchdown seasons with a national championship on top of it (albeit in a limited but pivotal role) with another national championship game appearance, it is my opinion that he would have deserved the award.

But seriously, don't leave just because it's getting harder for you.

Defend your stance that healthy Tua wins the Heisman in light of the following:
quote:

Extrapolating his stats to 13 games, he finishes with 4100 passing yards and 47 TDs. Burrow blew that out of the water and beat him head to head and had better team success.
