I’ve played hockey since I was 7 years old. Watching the video of his injury was unsettling thinking one missed hit into the boards could have put me in a wheel chair.

He was exactly the same age as I am and played hockey 2 towns away from where I played hockey, but he was a lot better. Playing for a BU team that was on the beginning of greatness and sparring with UMaine and Walsh in the early 90s, but neither team broke out until 93. Both teams were loaded and then he got totally cheated. Total 1 in a billion accident. He was a good man
